The Chapel Hill Analytical and Nanofabrication Laboratory (CHANL) at UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking a Materials Characterization and Outreach Scientist that is as passionate about scanning electron and atomic force microscopies as they are about promoting scientific outreach and educational activities. Responsibilities will include supporting CHANL’s microscopy instrumentation through new user trainings, maintaining instrumentation, and providing characterization services. A major portion of the role will also entail coordinating, developing, and assisting in outreach and educational activities to support the mission of the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN) and the UNC Department of Chemistry.
