[labnetwork] Oxford Black PLC Failure

	We experienced a similar issue with our Oxford RIE system. The PLC failed and Oxford was adamant about not sending us a replacement. It took some time and lots of emails and phone calls, but I was eventually able to get a new preprogramed PLC sent to us. Keep in mind that we do have a newer system so that may have played into their willingness to work with us but in every troubleshooting experience I've had with Oxford nothing seems to get accomplished until I become a real thorn in their side.

Hello Everyone,

Our old Oxford Plasmalab System 100 (ICP RIE) had a failure with its PLC, and it’s the older black style.  Does anyone know of a company that works on these older systems and possibly retrofits them? I haven’t been very successful with Oxford, it seems that this system is too old for them to consider taking on.
