Hello fellow Fabbers.
We are looking for a qualified company that can deep clean our class 100 (ISO 5) clean room floor over the upcoming holiday break.
Traditionally, clean room floors are never cleaned and coated as you would do in a commercial space such as department store. The abrasive process as well as the coatings, ( wax), will contribute unwanted particles.
Since our clean room is approaching its 18th birthday, the floors could use a deep cleaning. Past efforts in cleaning up spills that have stained the floor resulted in unsightly "bright" spots where an abrasive and strong solvent have been used. Our idea is to find a company that has the technology to abrasively clean the surface in a wet slurry to control particulates being released into the environment. We would also be interested in learning if there are new technologies in coatings to seal the floor after the cleaning.
Should anyone in this network have any information regarding this subject, I would be grateful if you could educate me and my colleagues.
Sincerely,
  Steve "Equipment Dood" Paolini
