There is some merit to making it a 2.5 - 3x set if your cleanroom alarms (fire, gas, etc) involve evacuating to a non-filtered airspace.

You don't often get email from czwakj at rpi.edu<mailto:czwakj at rpi.edu>. Learn why this is important<https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification>

Good morning
Regarding sizes: Boots 1extra large, Large, Medium large, Medium Reg and Small
Coveralls 2extra large, 1extra large, Large, Medium and Small
Hoods Extra large, Large, Medium and Small
Quantities: Depends on users. We always have a dedicated 15 users a week. But we can have up to 40 or 50.
Also, you will have to send them out for cleaning, so you will need to have another set for when they are out. SO double the amount needed.
We also hang up the suits to allow for multiple user use (see attached picture), about 20 are hung up and another 6 we have set aside for staff and another 10 stored for backup. We also provide cubby areas so users can keep their hood and other materials for further use. Every week every piece that is used gets sent out to be cleaned and if repairs are needed.

Hi everyone,
We're considering purchasing new cleanroom suits for our ISO 5 cleanroom. Do you have any tips on how to choose the right gowns based on practical aspects? What features have you found useful, and which ones are less important in your experience? We're currently figuring out what we need. Has anyone gone through this process before and can share their insights?
For the decision, my plan is to look at three different variations, buy some samples in various sizes, and let some of the users decide.
Also, how many different sizes should we buy? If we anticipate having 100 users in the foreseeable future, how many overalls should we get in S, M, L, and XL? Any guesses?
Thanks for your help!
Best,
Bernhard
