Hi Russ,

The first thing that I would advise is to discuss this with your university safety department. Lecture bottles often fall under some exceptions. For example, my local regs allow for lecture bottles of SiCl4 and HBr. This allowance could be very specific to local regulations, so it is better to find out first. The local swap that you suggest is very convenient if you can do it.
