Hi Roberto,
While it's not exactly the same as the "minimal fab" movement in Japan, you
might find *InchFab* out in California worth checking out. They’re taking a
similar approach with a smaller footprint, lower-cost, and modular
processing setup, but applying it specifically to foundry services.
They’re a great group to talk to, and if you’re interested, I’d be happy to
make an introduction.
