Phyllis,

You may already be thinking of this, but it is important to note that even portable cleanrooms above a certain size will require a sprinkler be added to it if placed in a building with sprinklers. I had to deal with this several times at Cornell, as the size is smaller than many would think, generally anything above about 100 sq ft (determined by your local building/fire codes). At Cornell, I was tasked with helping faculty with things like this, as they would often purchase and setup something similar without realizing the code, and then get cited during the next fire inspection and have to deal with it then under a tight deadline.

Subject: [labnetwork] Suppliers of small aerospace cleanrooms

Hi all,

I'm looking for suppliers of small (250-300 sq ft) cleanrooms for aerospace assembly applications. This facility will be installed inside an existing lab space.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks!

-Phyllis
