The University of Utah Nanofab is recruiting a Cleanroom Manager, and I would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with experienced cleanroom professionals in your networks.

This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position with broad responsibility for the operation and continued development of the University’s shared micro- and nanofabrication facility. The Cleanroom Manager will oversee cleanroom operations, fabrication equipment and processes, facility infrastructure, safety, user training, staff, and budgeting, while also working closely with researchers on advanced micro- and nanofabrication projects.

The Nanofab supports a diverse research community working in areas including microelectronics, MEMS, sensors, micro-optics, materials, and nanotechnology. The position offers an opportunity for an experienced cleanroom professional to combine technical expertise with facility leadership while working directly with faculty, students, research groups, and external users.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong technical depth in micro- and nanofabrication processes and equipment, demonstrated leadership and staff management experience, and a collaborative, service-oriented approach to operating a shared user facility.

The position is located at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, with a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
