The Georgia Tech's Institute for Matter and Systems (IMS)<https://matter-systems.gatech.edu/> is pleased to announce that registration is now open for our Fall 2026 hands-on short courses.
Our upcoming courses include:
Microfabrication Short Course
August 20–21, 2026
A comprehensive introduction to CMOS-compatible microfabrication, covering photolithography, thin-film deposition, etching, process integration, and hands-on cleanroom experience.
Additive Manufacturing, Soft Lithography & Microfluidics Short Course
September 24–25, 2026
Focused on rapid prototyping for BioMEMS and microfluidic devices, including PDMS processing, soft lithography, and biomedical applications.
E-Beam Lithography (EBL) Short Course
October 20–21, 2026
Advanced training on nanoscale patterning using the Elionix ELS-G100 electron beam lithography system, including lectures and hands-on cleanroom experience.
These courses are designed for graduate students, researchers, faculty, industry professionals, and anyone interested in gaining practical experience in advanced micro- and nanofabrication techniques. Each course includes expert lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions.
