We do same as Louisville at the advice of UC Davis. Home Depot washing machine plumbed to DI water and we use special low foam detergent sheets from Amazon. We hang dry in the chase.

Hi Gohmyeong,
    At U. Of Louisville, we have a cleanroom washing machine in one of our chases.  We do our own laundry once or twice a week and hang it to dry in the same chase.  Very cost effective for smaller facilities.

Hi Gohmgeong,



When I was at U-O, I started with CINTAS and then the team switched to another vendor after I left. The issue will be size appropriately and make sure the count is efficient enough. I know they usually charge for damaged/severely stained gowns so that’s something you have to monitor.
