<span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Reporting directly to the Tyndall CEO, this role requires a</span><span lang="EN" style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">n internationally-respected expert in the field of Micro and/or Nanoelectronics (materials, devices, circuits or systems) with either extensive academic or ICT industrial experience or a combination of both. The individual will be skilled in identifying high potential technical opportunities and new research topics for incubation, as well as mentoring researchers to develop state of the art research programmes that produce innovative solutions and commercial impact. </span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Success in the role will be measured by the generation of income from industry and EU/ESA programmes, the development of research partnerships and the creation of new Irish jobs.</span></p>
