<div dir="ltr">Here at the LNF we have a separate lab space for our "dirtier" processes, including dicing and KOH etching. We process PDMS in this space and require users to line the bench area with foil while preparing the PDMS since it makes a huge mess and our users are not always very careful. There is also a cutting station and plasma tool in this space for post-curing work.<div><br></div><div>Fully cured PDMS can be brought into the clean room, but only used on specific tools with prior authorization. <p class="MsoNormal">I am curious how many fabs allow PDMS mixing in their main cleanrooms and how many require that work done in separate isolated spaces or noncleanroom labs. My experience has been that they can be in the same space if careful glove protocols
