<p>Hi Joey,</p>
<p>Are you sure it is the USB to Serial converter that is the issue?
These are pretty robust (especially the FTDI and Silicon Labs
CP2102N based ones). Can you post the error log? Do you know if
the COM port got reassigned somehow or if some other program is
holding the port open? If possible, disable USB power save in the
BIOS or in Windows. What does device manager say? </p>

the USC Nanofabrication lab. I hope I am writing to the right
place. I would like to post an issue I am having with a SUSS
MABA6 Mask Aligner to see if anyone on the forum has a
solution.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The issue is with the LED Lamphouse
Communication. We have verified the Driver Boards and LED
Lamphouse & Fans are operational and suspect the issue may
be an issue with the USB to RS-485 converter. We are waiting
for a new converter to be delivered but would like to check
for other possible solutions in the meantime.<o:p></o:p></p>
