[labnetwork] experience with Germanium

Colleagues,

We have a new CHA E-Beam / Thermal evaporator and there has been a some interest in depositing Germanium.

What (if any) are the risks for allowing Germanium deposition in a system that does largely gold, titanium, aluminum and nickel?
