[labnetwork] HDD Best Practice

Hi Long,

We use Macrium Reflect to save an image of our drives on an external
server.  That way when a hard-drive dies, we just need to restore the
image.  We set it on a schedule for some systems where frequent backups
are useful.  Other systems are a single backup and then we disconnect
the tool from the network connection.  It has saved us a lot of times.

Thanks,
Nathanael

Our setup where we just have a single working drive and a spare backup clone has been more successful. We are planning to move away from Raid Mirror. Anyone has expertise/experience here they can share?
