[labnetwork] LED light source for P7 profilometers

Hello LabNetwork,

We have a KLA-Tencor P7 stylus profilometer that has had a dead LED light
source for two months, and I was just informed by KLA that it will be
another 3.5 months until the "estimated" ship date of the order I placed
way back when for a replacement. This seems to be an extremely long time to
have a tool down for such an easy to fix problem, and I'm hoping someone
out there has an alternate supplier for the part, or a suggestion for a
workaround fix. For reference, the part number and description are
0266756-00,  ASSY,CBL,LED,P7. I have also attached pictures of our dead
LED, for reference. Please note: it has to be that shape and size (~17.5 x
8mm)or it will not fit in our system. Any help would be appreciated.
