[labnetwork] semiconductor grade neon source and price?

Would a small gas purifier meet your need…buy commercial grade neon and run it though a gas purifier? Outlet gas purity is <.5 PPB of most contaminants. Here are a couple of links to purifier suppliers. There are others

Hi Brian,

 

Unfortunately, I think that's the going rate. A year and a half ago, I paid ~$5200 for a size 35 cylinder that is 98% neon so, assuming yours is a size 300 cylinder, this is not that hard to believe. As I understand things, the war in Ukraine is the main reason for the price hike.
