Hi Gabe,

Here at University of Miami Nanofab Facility, we have an E-beam evaporator and Sputtering machine from Angstrom Engineering systems. We are happy with both machines and especially with the fast response and full support from the customer service of this company. We had some situations that we stuck in the middle of a depositions. We called them and they provide full support to finish it successfully.
From maintenance prospective, they are also fast responsive and very helpful.

Hope it helps,

Best,
Bahar

Hello Gabel,
In our lab at CFET, we have two Angstrom Engineering systems (one is sputtering, and the other is an Ebeam and resistive evaporator). We are very happy with them. Their after-sales support and maintenance are excellent. They were very accommodating with customizing the system based on our needs. Happy to have a chat with you and/or provide more information if needed.
Best,
Saeid

Hello All,

We are in the process of procuring a new E-Beam evaporator and considering options from Kurt J. Lesker, AJA Internation, and Angstrom Engineering; the pricing between all three vendors is comparable. We have lots experience using and maintaining KJL and AJA systems, but do not have much exposure to Angstrom Engineering's systems. We are curious for other nanolabs experience with these tools, particularly from a maintenance prospective. We plan to use this tool for both metal and oxide depositions. Any feedback or thoughts on Angstrom's E-beam systems is very much appreciated!

Kind Regards,
