Please allow me to introduce myself: I'm an Education Fellow at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco, working mainly on transport measurements in 2D materials. With colleagues at the UM6P School of Physics, I'm part of Qryo Instruments, a UM6P Launchpad venture developing affordable, helium-free cryostats designed, built and supported in Africa: https://qinst.netlify.app/

As part of our needs assessment, we are running a short survey on the barriers facilities face around low-temperature (≤10 K) measurement: purchase cost, helium logistics, service and maintenance access, and lead times. The survey feeds our feasibility study, and the aggregated benchmarks (helium spend, typical service turnaround, procurement barriers) will be shared back with the labnetwork community, where we hope they'll be useful for your own facility planning.
