[labnetwork] UGIM 2026 updates!

Just a quick follow up about Mary's mention of Global Nanolab https://globalnanolab.org/. This is a new initiative to create an international "network of networks" to enhance facility staff interaction with colleagues for professional development and knowledge transfer.

At the moment, we have member networks from US, Australia, Europe, Japan, and Canada, but we are interested in adding others. Additionally, currently the US representative to Global Nanolab is the NNCI network, but, as you may know, NNCI is coming to an end and will be replaced by the NQNI before the end of this year. In addition, there are many other nanofabs in the US besides NNCI/NQNI, and we are interested in ideas to incorporate those facilities as well.

Please reach out if you would like to learn more about this effort or have suggestions.

Regards,
David
