We at the UCSB Teaching cleanroom do our own laundry. My colleague
Rachel at UCSB CNSI setup a consumer grade LG laundry machine with a
stainless drum (I can get the exact model # if there is any interest)
and an RO system to use with an odorless enzymatic detergent. Both our
cleanrooms are somewhere between class 10 - 100. I must say this has
been a rather fruitful decision that has resulted in significant cost
savings for both.
